WHY IS YOLKIN CALLED “YOLKIN”?
Sammie Le, founder of Yolkin, is a passionate baker who loved baking macarons with her daughters, but instead of throwing away all the yolks not needed in the macarons, she made use of the yolks in making some ice cream! And ta-da! A macaron ice cream sandwich! Not only are these desserts good looking and instagrammable, the weekly-changing list of ice cream flavours surprises me every time! Like Milo, Matcha Oreo and Black Sesame. But red velvet is still my no.1 choice. Just between you and me, they mix in actual red velvet cake into the ice cream to add more texture to it😍😍
